Energy Aggregation Program
Madison Township has signed an agreement with Constellation New Energy to be the next electric aggregation supplier starting with the July 2026 bill and expiring on the December 2027 bill.
Electric utilities in Ohio reset their generation rates every June. Duke's rate starting in June is going to be 10.7¢ per kWh and AES's rate starting in June is going to be 10.856¢ per kWh.
Here are the Rates for the Township's aggregation program starting with the July 2026 bill and continuing throughthe December 2027 bill.
Duke customers: 9.77¢ per kWh and AES customers: 9.392¢
What do I need to do?
If you receive a letter in late May and want to be part of the program, you don't need to do anything.
If you receive a letter in late May and do not want to be part of the program, follow the directions on the letter to opt out.
There are no termination fees and you can leave the program at any time.
If you never want to be considered for the electric aggregation program, you can put your information on the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO), Do Not Aggregate list.
