Kimberly Lapensee
Mrs. Lapensee grew up in Hanover Township and is a graduate from Ross High School and from the University of Cincinnati in Urban Planning. She has dedicated her career to local government since 1989 and was recently appointed as the Fairfield Township Administrator in January of 2025.
With a diverse background in public service, Mrs. Lapensee began her career in planning, zoning and economic development at Butler County working for the Department of Development. She later advanced to the role of Director of Regional Planning at Warren County, Assistant City Manager for the City of Madeira before serving as Township Administrator for two different townships over the last 15 years.
Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in various boards and organizations. Most recently, she served as a board member of the Little Miami River Chamber Alliance and currently holds a position on the City of Hamilton/Fairfield Township Joint Economic Development District (JEDD) Board.
In addition to her administrative role, Mrs. Lapensee was recently elected as Fiscal Officer in 2023. She has been a proud resident of Butler County for over 50 years and has lived in Madison Township for the last 9 years with her husband Ben and two children, Megan and Cooper. Ben is the owner/operator of Lapensee Custom Construction; Megan is a recent graduate of Xavier University; and Cooper will be attending Miami University in the fall.
