Kent is a life long resident of Madison Township. He graduated from Madison High School in 1984.
Fire Chief Kent Hall joined the Madison Fire Department in 1985 and was appointed Fire Chief in 1998. In addition to his fire service, he dedicated 33 years to the Butler County Sherriff's Office, where he served with distinction until retiring as a Road Patrol Sergeant in November 2014. He later continued serving the community as a School Resource Officer, retiring from that role in 2023.
He enjoys vacationing with his family. He is married to Teresa Hall (Carder) and has two children Thomas and Halie and three grandchildren.
